Anton Dreher brewed the first bottom-fermented lager in history in Schwechat in 1841. Based on previous records, attention was paid to the typical malt fillings in the Wiener Lager (Viennese malt, Pilsener malt, specialty malt). In the drink, the subtle bitterness is supported by roasted, malty aromas without appearing sweet. The Schwechater Wiener Lager is ideally served in the cup.
